District Vice President, Mira Bhayandar

IntroductionIn a rapidly growing city like Mira Bhayandar, it’s not uncommon for citizens to face issues like garbage mismanagement, water supply problems, illegal construction, or damaged infrastructure. But what often becomes more frustrating than the issue itself is not knowing how to report it effectively — or worse, seeing no action after raising it. As the District Vice President of Mira Bhayandar, I’ve encountered this concern countless times, and that’s why we’ve made the process of filing a complaint easier, transparent, and result-oriented for every citizen.
Traditionally, most residents had to visit ward offices to report problems. This meant standing in queues, submitting forms, and then waiting endlessly with no updates. It discouraged people from speaking up. But today, that has changed. We’ve created a user-friendly online complaint portal at jansevakpramodpatil.in/complaint where you can report your concern in just a few clicks. Whether it’s an overflowing bin in your lane, a pothole causing daily inconvenience, a broken streetlight, or an unsafe construction site — you can now raise your voice directly from your phone or computer. You can describe the issue, upload a photo or video, and share your location, making it easier for us to escalate it to the right department quickly.
But the platform is not just about submitting a form. What sets it apart is the follow-up mechanism. Each complaint submitted through the portal is documented, tracked, and forwarded to the concerned department at Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC). Our team monitors the progress and ensures updates are shared. If the issue is not resolved within a reasonable time, we escalate it further until there is a clear outcome. This process has already helped address real issues across areas like Shanti Park, Beverly Park, and Naya Nagar — where prompt action was taken after residents filed complaints online.
At jansevakpramodpatil.in, our mission is simple: give power back to the people and make the system accountable. Your right to complain is not a formality — it is your voice as a responsible citizen. And that voice should lead to change. Many people hesitate to file complaints thinking, “Will anything happen?” But staying silent allows the problems to grow. If we don’t speak up, the system assumes we are okay with the status quo. That is why this platform is open, accessible, and meant to encourage participation from all corners of Mira Bhayandar.
We also recognize that not all complaints are about civic amenities. That’s why our portal also accepts anonymous safety-related concerns. From drug abuse near public places to late-night disturbances and unsafe areas, people now have a safe space to report problems without fear. Each of these concerns is taken seriously and forwarded to the relevant authority with complete confidentiality. Looking ahead, my vision for Mira Bhayandar includes a stronger connection between citizens and the administration — one where technology, transparency, and teamwork lead the way. Filing a complaint is no longer a burden — it’s a contribution to the betterment of our city. I urge every resident reading this to take the first step. Don’t wait for someone else to report it. If you see something wrong, speak up.
You can also become a part of this change. Join our volunteer efforts at jansevakpramodpatil.in/join-us where you can actively engage in ward-level activities, clean-up drives, and awareness campaigns. Together, we are building a cleaner, safer, and more citizen-friendly Mira Bhayandar — one resolved complaint at a time.
Your voice matters. Use it. And let’s work together to create the city we all deserve.
