Mira Bhayandar has always been close to my heart — not just as a political area, but as my extended family. Every time I walk through its lanes, meet the people, or hear their concerns, I’m reminded of why I entered public service in the first place: to help. Not for fame, not for show, but for real change that touches real lives.
One of the things I’ve always believed is that service should be silent but strong. That’s why, on the birthday of Devendra Fadnavis ji, while many spend on banners and big celebrations, I chose to donate food to orphan children and senior citizens. That is the kind of celebration that brings me peace — when a child smiles or an elderly person blesses me after a warm meal.
I’ve consistently made it a point to support orphans and senior citizens, ensuring they receive attention and care, not just on special days, but regularly. I’ve also helped people from all walks of life — even those who sell vegetables on the roadside — because for me, no one is too small or unimportant. If someone is struggling, and I can help, I will.
One of the most impactful works we did was at Gagandeep Building Road. For a long time, residents in that area suffered due to the horrible condition of the road. It was ignored for years. People from nearly 30 to 40 buildings used that route daily and faced endless trouble. I made it a personal mission to get that road fixed. Today, that road is fully developed and makes everyday life easier for hundreds of families. That’s the kind of work that stays with you.
Another major priority for me has been the safety of school children. In many areas near schools, I noticed the absence of speed breakers and proper lighting. This posed a risk to kids, especially during early mornings and late evenings. We took quick action and got speed breakers and street lights installed near schools across Mira Bhayandar. Now, children and parents both feel safer.
I also have great respect for teachers. On Teachers’ Day, I personally invite teachers from our area, honor them with gifts, and thank them for their service to society. These are the people shaping our future, and they deserve our love and respect.
Cleanliness has been another area I’ve worked on with commitment. Managing wet and dry waste, improving awareness about garbage disposal, and helping maintain cleaner streets — these aren’t flashy tasks, but they are vital. I always take initiatives on improving our area’s waste management, and I will continue to do so.
The truth is, I don’t differentiate between people. Whether you’re a senior citizen, a working-class man, a vegetable vendor, or a child in school — if you’re from my area, you matter. My work is for you, and my doors are always open. I’ve done these things not to boast, but because it’s my duty — and more importantly, it’s my nature.
If you have a problem, suggestion, or want to reach out, I’m always here to listen.
